One person has been killed and two, abducted in a kidnap operation by unknown armed men in Iwo town of Kwara South Senatorial District on Friday evening.
DAILY POST gathered that the deceased was killed in an attempt to resist being taken away by the armed abductors.
He was reportedly killed on the spot while two others were carried away by the armed men to an unknown destination.
The spokesman of the state police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Saturday.
He said, “Action is in top gear to free the abducted and arrest the abductors please.”
