While speaking on a recent episode of the “Key to Keys” show, pastor Ashimolowo has advised that anyone capable of investing in the real estate sector of Lagos should do so promptly as they will regret that they did not in 10 years time.

Narrating the history of land value in the state, Ashimolowo pointed out how a plot of land in Lagos was valued for as low as N500 to N1000 in the past, compared with the valuation of the same portion today.

In his words; “Anyone who refuses to invest in Lagos now will inevitably regret not doing so in 10 years.

As a young pastor, I came to Lagos when a plot of land in the capital and it’s environs sold for N500 to N1000. Back then, Ikeja, the Lagos State capital, was very underdeveloped.

“In the late 70s to early 80s, places like Opebi which I wouldn’t buy for N500, I had to buy for N10million in 2004.
