According to a report by Punch, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared that peace has been restored in Rivers State following the resolution of the prolonged political dispute with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former governor, Nyesom Wike.
The truce was achieved after a closed-door meeting mediated by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
