Instead of endorsing Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, they have chosen to support Dr. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of State for Education. The LCL, in a statement titled “Alausa: Save Lagos Now,” highlighted Alausa’s impressive background as a Chicago-based medical doctor and his current role as Minister of Education. They believe that Alausa possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to attract contemporary developments that would complement President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to rejuvenate the state.
