The LCL also commended President Tinubu for his ongoing economic reforms, encouraging Nigerians to remain patient as the benefits of these initiatives would soon be reaped. Similarly, the General Secretary of the Good Governance Initiative, Mr. Wale Olushoga, endorsed Alausa as their candidate, stating that their position aligned with the LCL.

The decision by these groups comes amid conversations about Seyi Tinubu’s potential governorship bid in Lagos State, which have elicited mixed reactions from stakeholders. However, the Association of Arewa Yoruba Youths (AAYY) has argued that Seyi Tinubu is constitutionally qualified to aspire for any elective position like any other citizen.
