According to the President, this summit is a crucial platform for addressing the pressing issues faced by young Nigerians, such as unemployment. He emphasised the Government’s commitment to empowering Youth through initiatives like the Youth Investment Fund, Student Loan Scheme among others.
“Investing in our youth is investing in the future of our Nation,” President Tinubu remarked, highlighting the Administration’s resolve to create more opportunities for growth and innovation.
The President further elaborated on the importance of the summit’s theme, “Enhancing the Nigerian Youth Value for National Security Intelligence,” asserting that National Security is a collective responsibility that benefits from the talents, skills, and creativity of young people.
He urged participants to be proactive in shaping the Nation’s future, emphasising, “Your role in National development is crucial. We must listen to your voices and support your initiatives to unlock your full potential.”
The summit also focused on the need for continued dialogue between Youth and Law Enforcement to foster mutual understanding and cooperation.
President Tinubu called for sustained engagement and collaboration to ensure that the contributions of Nigerian Youth are effectively harnessed for National progress.
