In a report published by THE SUN on Sunday, titled “Citizens and Tribalistic Leadership,” Kenneth Okonkwo criticized the current administration for being tribalistic.

He noted that the Igbo community avoided participating in the #EndBadGovernance protests to prevent being used as scapegoats.

According to Okonkwo, if the protests were meant to address hardship, it is worth noting that the Igbo people have been facing adversity since the civil war, with many survivors receiving only £20 irrespective of their bank balances.

Kenneth Okonkwo commented, “This is despite the fact that Ndigbo clearly avoided the protest to steer clear of being blamed. Additionally, if the protest was focused on hardship, they have faced such difficulties since the Nigerian Civil War, during which they received £20 each regardless of their financial status.”
