The chairman said that retirees should, above all, take care of their health and be closer to God.
He advised the retirees to find time to improve their community by volunteering their accumulated expertise through mentoring and advisory services.
Nta urged those still in active service to be diligent to duty and start on time to prepare adequately for retirement, which, according to him is inevitable.
The outgoing Secretary of the Commission said his greatest achievement was successfully implementing the Commission’s five-year Strategic Action Plan.
Nyikyaa said that during his tenure, the Commission witnessed better staff service conditions through the provision of working tools and other welfare schemes.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Acting Secretary to the Commission, Mr Chiadi Adighiogu, who had previously been a Director in the Commission, congratulated the retirees.
