He was kidnapped on August 24 near the Okrika waterfront, Marine Base area of Port Harcourt.
Fubara was released shortly after midnight on Thursday last week, on a smaller island near Bonny.
However, he was not reunited with his family until Friday, September 6.

The report stated that a family member, who asked to remain anonymous, confirmed Aribibia’s release.
Fubara was held for 12 days.
