A former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has mourned the passing of famous businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata who died at the age of 94.
Sani who served Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the Eighth Assembly said the passing of Dantata is a great loss to Nigeria.
Politics Nigeria had earlier reported that the businessman’s death was confirmed on Saturday morning by his Principal Private Secretary, Mustapha Junaid.

Dantata, an uncle to Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote was said to have died in Abu Dhabi.
In his statement, Sani said the businessman was an individual of upright values who touched millions of lives across several generations.
He said, “The news of the passing away of Alhaji Aminu Dantata is a great loss to the country.
“He was a man of upright values and boundless compassion who touched the lives of millions of people spanning generations.
“Not everyone is so blessed with a combination of purposeful longevity, generous spirit and wealth of honour
