This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.
He called on security agencies to step up and increase surveillance and response to thwart any attempt to terrorise innocent citizens particularly as agricultural activities are under serious threat.
Lalong said the renewed attacks which appear to be coordinated must be dealt with holistically by ensuring that those behind it are apprehended and dealt with.
He called on the communities to continue to strengthen local surveillance, vigilance and collaboration with security agencies to establish lasting peace and security.
