Ayoola said just like many other progressives in the state, he was unhappy with the reported frosty relationship between the two political leaders, generating so much frenzy and negative reports in the media.
He said, “I have really not been happy reading all manners of distasteful reports on two political leaders, Gov Dapo Abiodun and his long-term friend and political associate, a former governor and now Senator representing Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
“Naturally, we are sometimes caught in conflict as humans but whenever this happens, we should forgive one another and move on; friction is said to be part of human relationships.
“As key political leaders that many of us look up to as role models, I plead with both of you, His Excellencies, to sit down, iron out the differences and be more united to take Ogun to greater heights”, he stated.
Recall that Abiodun and Senator Daniel had been at loggerheads.
