When she returned, she discovered that the car, which had transported the group to the venue, had left without her and the rest of the ladies were nowhere to be found.

Despite the growing public outcry, the Lagos State Police Command has maintained a conspicuous silence on the matter. Efforts to reach the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, for a statement have reportedly been futile, as he has not responded to calls or text messages seeking clarification about the case.
When approached for a comment on Wednesday, the Commissioner of Police, after being informed of the case, refused to address the issue directly. Instead, he deflected inquiries to the police spokesperson, stating, “Call my PPRO, I am the Commissioner of Police.”
When pressed further and informed that the spokesperson had been unreachable, the Commissioner doubled down, saying, “Try him again. Try him more if he isn’t picking. That is his responsibility. You can even visit his office. I oversee 13,500 officers in Lagos, and they all have designated duties.”
The alarming disappearance of the six women has raised concerns among members of the public and online communities. Many are questioning what might have happened at the party and are urging the authorities to take decisive action to locate the missing individuals.
