Fans of Spanish and European Champions Real Madrid have been greeted with some news concerning one of the team’s squad members.
The player in question is Jesus Vallejo and latest reports say he has declared his intention to stay on at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer ahead of next season.
Jesus Vallejo wishes to stay on at Real Madrid this summer. The 27 year old Spanish defender has been unable to hold down a place at Los Blancos and spent the 2023/2024 season on loan at Granada where he lacked first team opportunities. Vallejo is now back at Real Madrid and wants to stay despite the fact that he is unlikely to have a regular role in Coach Carlo Ancelloti’s team next season.
According to reports from media outlet The Athletic, Jesus Vallejo has declared his intention to stay on at Real Madrid to see out his contract which expires in June 2025. The club are not planning to force the defender to leave out of respect for him.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Jesus Vallejo as he is set to stay on at Real Madrid.
