Recall that a three-man panel led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, while delivering its judgement via Zoom on Monday, declared Emmanuel David Ombudagu of the PDP winner of the March 18 guber election.

Two of the justices agreed that the election was won by the PDP, maintaining that the petitioner was able to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt, while one judge dissented.

DAILY POST earlier reported that PDP supporters defied the heavy downpours and were seen on major roads celebrating Ombugadu’s victory.

However, APC, in a statement signed by its chairman, Hon Aliyu Bello, warned PDP supporters not to jubilate as all legal processes have been exhausted.

“We take the opportunity to warn the PDP to desist from harassing and intimidating people in the guise of celebrating the split judegment of the tribunal.

“Decorum and sense of responsibility should be employed to avoid breakdowns of law and order.”

The party had earlier said that it was in full support of Sule’s intention to appeal the tribunal’s judgement at the Court of Appeal.
