Sodiq Abubakar put Enyimba ahead in the first half before energetic midfielder Divine Nwachukwu equalised to end the encounter in a 1-1 draw.

The result preserves Bendel Insurance’s 21-match unbeaten run in the NPL this season.

Odigie believes that his team’s failure to convert their chances was the reason for the result.

“We didn’t take our chances in our match against Enyimba,” Odigie told DAILY POST at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

“This is a huge disappointment for all of us. We should have decided the outcome of the game in the first half.”

Bendel Insurance are on three points, having drawn all their three matches in the playoff.
