According to the staff member, a few armed DSS officers were waiting outside while two others, a man and a woman, entered the office. They arrived at 11:09 a.m. and stayed until 11:21 a.m.

However, the staff member pointed out that the officers didn’t have any formal invitation or explanation for their visit.
The staff recognized the interrogator as a DSS officer through her ID card, which she tried to hide. That card showed she worked for the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Command.
The SERAP employee explained what happened: “Some armed DSS officers were outside, and two, a man and a woman, came inside the office. They entered at 11:09 a.m. and left at 11:21 a.m. The female officer kept asking for Kola. I told her he was out of the country and asked if she had an appointment with him. She said no and claimed they just wanted to have a friendly chat. Then they asked to talk to someone else in management.
“I told them no one was available. They then asked how many offices we had nationwide. I said we have two, one in Abuja and another in Lagos.
