Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The tragic accident occurred on Tuesday night on the Ondo-Ore-Benin Expressway near the Ajure community in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The accident, which was a collision, involved an 18-passenger Toyota Hiace bus and a truck.
The two vehicles crashed head-on, causing the bus to catch fire and resulting in the deaths of 16 passengers, while three others survived the accident.
The Ondo Sector Commander of the FRSC, Mr. Ibitoye Samuel, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday, attributed the crash to speeding and improper overtaking.
