Arsenal have confirmed that midfielder Mauro Bandeira has left the club to join League Two side Colchester United on a season-long loan.

“We wish Mauro all the best with Colchester United this coming season and look forward to watching his continued development,” Arsenal’s statement read in part.
Bandeira joined Arsenal back in 2016 and has been a key figure in the club’s academy sides ever since.
The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Gunners in July 2022.
He made 23 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal’s Under-21 team last season, scoring three goals and registering two.
