Arsenal will pursue a move for Chelsea forward, Kai Havertz, after they complete the transfer for Declan Rice from West Ham, the Mail reports.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The Gunners are hoping to wrap up a deal with Rice by the end of this week.
However, they will be looking to take another player from a fellow Premier League side again.
Mikel Arteta is keen on Havertz and will look to prize the 24-year-old away from Stamford Bridge.
Havertz was a regular fixture in Chelsea’s front line throughout last season and the Blues co-owner Todd Boehly will not sell the Germany international cheaply.
Arsenal, who will be expected to fork out a considerable transfer sum to land Havertz this summer, plan to reassess their budget after splashing out on Rice for an expected fee worth north of £100 million.
