Former Arsenal forward, Gervinho, is on the verge of landing a shock transfer move to play in Italy’s fourth division.

Trapani president Valerio Antonini confirmed the club’s interest in the Ivorian, saying: “We have identified players of important stature and functional to the tactical credo of our coach. I want to give a gift to the city.”
Gervinho is currently plying his trade in Greece with Aris Saloniki.
The 36-year-old joined Aris Saloniki last summer after his one-year spell with Turkish side Trabzonspor came to an end.
Before heading to Turkey, Gervinho spent time in Italy with Parma. He has also played for AS Roma in the past.
