Rice will complete his record-breaking £105million move from West Ham. The transfer has already been agreed between both London clubs. But they are still thrashing out the finer details.
Arsenal will also wrap up a deal for Ajax defender, Timber, who will sign a five-year deal at the Emirates. He will cost the Premier League side £40million.
But, just as importantly for the North London side, they hope to tie down key defender William Saliba to a new four-year deal.
And they are keen to complete and announce a new contract for forward Reiss Nelson, too. Nelson has been a target for Crystal Palace as his contract expired last week.
The Gunners completed the £65m signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea last week.
