Former Manchester United player, Dwight Yorke, has insisted that Manchester United’s capture of Mason Mount is a better deal than Arsenal’s for Declan Rice.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Man United recently signed Mount from Chelsea for a reported £60million, while Rice is all set to join Arsenal for a £105million from West Ham United.
But Yorke believes Mount will score more goals for Man United than Rice will do for Arsenal.
“There is a clear reason why Man City backed out of the Declan Rice signing, they don’t think he is worth £105m,” Yorke told BoyleSports.
“West Ham’s valuation of Rice probably comes from Enzo Fernandez’s price, plus he is English, so that adds on a few million.
“Mason Mount for £60m is 100 per cent a better deal than Rice for £105m. Mount will score more goals. Obviously, they are different positions, so it is harder to compare, but Mount is as talented as anyone else.”
