Manchester United have received a major boost in their pursuit of Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund.

Sky Sports reports that discussions have been had over the fee and payment structure.
The report added that Hojlund is keen on a move to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, in another development, Manchester United’s Premier League rival Chelsea confirmed the signing of English defender Brooke Aspin from Bristol City.
In a statement via its website, Chelsea said Aspin, 18, signed a four-year contract with the club’s women’s team and would return to Bristol City on loan.
Chelsea’s statement partly reads: “Chelsea have completed the signing of 18-year-old English defender Brooke Aspin from Bristol City, with the centre-back returning there on loan for the 2023/24 campaign.
“After signing a four-year contract with the Blues, Aspin will spend the forthcoming season with Bristol City to continue her development.”
