Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Dessers joined the Scottish Premiership giants from Serie A club, Cremonese last week.
The Gers paid Cremonese €4m plus €1m in add-ons for the Nigerian.
The 28-year-old has a huge reputation having emerged top scorer in the UEFA Europa Conference League with 10 goals two seasons ago.
The striker scored 10 across all competitions for Cremonese last season.
“Dessers is clearly a striker he’s had his eye on for a long time. It’s a player who was flagged up back when Steven Gerrard was in charge, and I suspect a few of the new recruits are in the same boat,” Miller told Daily Record.
“He’s finally got his man and it looks like an encouraging signing. I said at the end of the season the big priority was sorting out both ends of the pitch – the goalkeeper and striker,” he added.
