Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has hit out at Arsenal for opening the offer for Declan Rice with £80 million upfront and £10 million in add-ons.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan noted: “If you’re starting at £80m, you’d assume they’re going to start moving upwards from there.
“I don’t think Declan Rice is worth £100 million, but that is the current market, and the market will drive that price.”
The Gunners had indicated they were willing to meet the Hammers’ asking price of more than £100 million, but their initial bid is believed to be much lower.
