Former German player, Guido Schafer has given a glowing assessment of new Liverpool star, Dominik Szoboszlai.
Szoboszlai had his medical at Anfield at the weekend ahead of his Liverpool move.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano reports that the Reds have decided to pay Szoboszlai’s release clause of €70 million.
The midfielder will become manager, Jurgen Klopp’s second signing of the summer, after Alexis Mac Allister joined from Brighton.
And Schafer, who spoke with The Anfield Wrap, heaped praise on the Hungarian, describing him as a sexy player and very attractive.
“Dominik Szoboszlai is a brilliant player – he is a sexy player,” said Schafer.
“Very attractive, very nice player and very skilful. And, he has one of the best right feet in Europe – his technique is unbelievable.
“Also, he is a good mentality player.
“He has all the skills you need for a world-class career and a world-class team like the Reds,” he added.
Schafer is Klopp’s former teammate who now works as a journalist for RB Leipzig.
