Two persons died in a fatal lone auto crash, which occurred in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Monday evening.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The auto crash, which involved a commercial Mitsubishi space bus registered SHA 784 XH, occurred at about 19.50 hours at Zebra 23, NATO, Airport Road, along Ilorin-Eiyekonri highway of Ilorin metropolis.
The accident, which involved four people, claimed two lives, including the driver, and a small child, while two others were seriously injured.
DAILY POST learnt that the driver of the vehicle who lost his life in the incident, lost control in an attempt to avoid hitting an okada rider with passengers.
The vehicle reportedly somersaulted repeatedly before crashing into a residential house along the road.
Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Frederick Ade Ogidan, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST in Ilorin on Tuesday.
He said the injured who sustained injuries and cuts were taken to the Kwara State General Hospital, while the the corpse of the deceased were deposited at the mortuary.
