Apostle Womotimi Kelvin Erewe, the General Overseer of Blaze of Love Ministries, has shut down the church following allegations that he engaged in sexual relations with female members, particularly students of UNIBEN.

As a result, both the main church and its branch at Ugbowo Campus have been closed.
All social media pages of the church have also been deactivated. In his statement, the pastor admitted that he was never truly called by God and expressed regret for taking advantage of the women in his congregation.
