The meeting, held on Tuesday, 13 August 2024, at the Korean Embassy in Abuja, focused on establishing exchange programmes between UNILAG and universities in Korea. They discussed collaboration in areas such as the Arts, Engineering, and Sciences, with both sides expressing interest in enhancing innovation and technology.

Professor Ogunsola requested the support of the Korean Embassy, particularly in Taekwondo, a sport in which South Korea excels. They also explored the possibility of technical assistance and other forms of support for the event.
Professor Ogunsola also highlighted UNILAG’s initiatives to work with industry partners to develop courses that equip students for the global job market.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with Professor Ogunsola inviting Ambassador KIM to attend the FASU Games opening ceremony and UNILAG’s International Week.
