During a discussion on TVC News, a commentator expressed that VDM should familiarize himself with libel law, suggesting that he spoke without understanding the legal implications of his statements.

“VDM needs to read up stuff about the libel law because the way he was speaking I knew that he was very ignorant of what the law says. For example you don’t have to mention a man’s name, even by your description you could be accused of libel because it’s possible to describe someone in graphic Manner and everyone will know whom you are referring to.”

He further emphasized that sharing any defamatory content from another source through your platform holds the same legal responsibility as that of the original source of the material.

“again if somebody gives you a clip and in that clip the person is defamed and you use your platform to publish that material you are liable to be sued as the person who was speaking in that audio clip.”

He also expressed gratitude to VDM for his role in highlighting the alleged corrupt activities associated with the commissions involved.
