The hunters, he added, are prepared to confront the bandits and drive them away. According to the group’s head, they simply require the OK of the South West States governor and the inspector general of police.

“I will submit a letter to the Inspector General of Police and all the governors in the zone to allow us approval to enter the forest,” declared Oba Nureni Akintola Anabi, national president of the Soludero Hunters’ Association, according to The Vanguard News. We shall move swiftly in response to their approval.

In order for the operation to be a success, we must notify the police. We will not tolerate the return of outlaws to our zone. As hunters, we are prepared to confront them and drive them from the area.
