Brigadier General G., commander of the Israeli Air Force’s Hatzerim Airbase, has provided a vivid account of the Israeli airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, describing a high-risk operation that took pilots through the airspace of hostile nations.
In an exclusive interview with Kan News on Thursday, Brig.-Gen. G. detailed the mission’s route, which involved flying over Iraq and Syria to reach targets deep within Iranian territory.
“We passed near Baghdad, crossed the Euphrates and Tigris rivers on our return via Syria,” he recounted.
