We’re Not Saying All Fulani Should Leave, Only the Armed, Violent Ones – Och’Idoma

According to a report by Punch, the Och’Idoma of Idoma land, John Odogbo, has clarified that the people of Benue State are not against the Fulani ethnic group, but are demanding that only those among them involved in violence should vacate their communities. His remarks followed a security meeting in Makurdi, attended by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders.


During the gathering, General Musa reassured leaders of the government’s commitment to restoring peace to the region. He noted that increased troop presence in Yelewata had brought stability, and efforts were underway to return displaced persons to their homes.
