Speaking at an empowerment program organized by the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area chairman, Ehie specifically addressed comments made by Felix Obuah and Chibudom Nwuche.

Chibudom Nwuche was Deputy Speaker of the House of Rep; who made him speaker? Is it not Odili? Felix Obuah was Local Government Chairman; Odili made him Local Government Chairman.”
He also stated that the current FCT Minister Nyesom Wike benefitted from the political leadership of Dr. Peter Odili: “Wike was Local Government Chairman; who made him Local Government Chairman? It is the same Odili.”
The Chief of Staff concluded with a formal apology on behalf of the Orashi community: “We want to stand here on behalf of the Orashi people to apologize to our father, Dr. Peter Odili, on behalf of his children who have gone astray, to say what we did not send them.”
