In a report published by Daily Trust on July 6, 2025, Phrank Shaibu, Special Assistant on Public Communication to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, voiced strong disapproval and frustration over what he described as renewed efforts to infiltrate the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Shaibu recalled that a similar infiltration had occurred in 2023, when individuals manipulated their way into power and, in a display of audacity, joined their benefactors in public celebration.
