In a video shared by Arise TV, Mikko mentioned that he watched a video where Wike warned that anyone who underestimates Fubara and refuses to support him would face serious consequences. This warning, according to Mikko, is why he and others decided to back Fubara in his efforts to carry out his responsibilities and fulfill his mandate.

In an interview on Arise Television, he remarked, “Wike said ‘if you don’t support Governor Fubara thinking that he is a small boy, he will invite the wrath of God upon you and he will show you khaki is not leather. We believe him, that is why we are saying that we have to follow Fubara so that he can execute his mandate.
The structure of politics in Rivers State is the Rivers people, politics is about people. Fubara’s political party doesn’t really matter for now, what he will do now in office will determine where his future will be”
