Two individuals, Hon. Durosimi Meseko from Kogi State and Hon. Yahuza Ado Inuwa from Nasarawa State, were both named as chairmen of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI).

Hon. Meseko was listed as the chairman of NBRRI at number 21 on the list, while Hon. Inuwa was also designated as chairman at number 41.
President Tinubu, in the original statement, stated that the roles of board chairpersons are non-executive and warned against interference in the day-to-day management of the agencies.
However, the directive risks being overshadowed by the conflicting appointments. As of now, no official response has been issued to explain or resolve the duplication.
