He explained that the officers were accused of partisanship during the 2015 elections and involvement in arms procurement fraud. “These claims are baseless. The officers committed no offence, and due process was not followed,” he said. Falana added that the treatment of the officers would discourage military personnel from serving with dedication.

Addressing Tinubu, he said, “As Commander-in-Chief, you must intervene. The military cannot ignore valid court orders and resolutions.” He called for immediate action to reinstate the officers, stressing the need to uphold justice and military morale.
